Day two; Valentines Day

14 februari 2015 - Auckland, Nieuw-Zeeland

What does Valentines day mean without being with the people you love? That should be a horror story.... Well, let me tell you: actually this lonely Valentines Day is quit lovely Let me tell you why.....

Imagine you sitting in a park. Green grass,  blue sky, feeling the sunlight on your skin. High palm trees, the sound of one thousand crickets. Birds keeping you company, purple flowers near your bare feet. And on your right a big statue of Moses.  Can you ask for more? Especailly the big Moses makes your Valentines Day a perfect day.

Unfortunately this day didn't start as a perfect day. The office, that will give me my credit card, new sim card and advices about working in NZ, is closed in the weekend. I only paid the hostel for two days, so I had to book two more nights. Unfortunately I found out my bank card didn't worked. Pore me, I felt pitty with myself. No money for pore Lisa. But no panic. Because I have lovely parents back in the Netherlands,  who help me at any time.  You should know it was almost midnight in the Netherlands, when I texted them and they helped me! Because of their help I have money and two extra nigths at the hostel now.

The room is nice. Last night I slept in a room with 3 other beds, this room has only one other and at this moment there is only me here. Privacy for Lisa.... finally.....

Auckland is a big city and everywhere you can find students.  Walking in the sun with their bag, sunglasses on their nose,  a cigarette in the corner of their mouth. No mom, I didn't see any handsome male student

I bought some fruits, dry biscuits and two bottles water.... So now I can enjoy the nice weather.

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!!!
