The Three Volcanos

Hello, Cinderella here speaking!
After three long bus trips I'm finally here: Tongariro National Park. There are three active volcanoes here: Mt Ruapehu, the highest mountain of the north island. Mt Tongariro, the lowest peak in the park. And there is Mt Ngauruhoe (don't break your tongue) is the youngest of the three volcanoes. It doesn't look like the other two volcanoes, because it has perfectly symmetrical slopes. That the reason that Mt Ngauruhoe was chosen as Mt Doom in "Lord of the Rings".
When I arrived here I get a key for two nights in a dorm room. With two English girls and a German guy, Toby. With Toby I went to drink a real NZ beer at the pub. Mt Ruapehu Beer!
I work in the Park Hotel and it's so beautiful here! When I sit on the toilet I can see Mt Ruapehu from my window!
Working is ok. You work with two others. One makes the beds, one cleans the bathroom and the last vacuums. There are a lot of rooms, but the colleagues seem very nice.
Tomorrow I start at 8 AM. The only thing is: Wi-Fi here is terrible!!!!

Oh yes, this hotel arranges walks to see Mt Ngggg- something and you can walk on the volcano itself! I'm definitely going to do that. And by the way, Mt Doom looks quit peaceful when you ask me ;-)

I can remember that we were there in 2010. It is so beautiful there!! Enjoy!!!

En ook ik ben Cinderella geweest en heb het overleefd en toen ook veel plezier gehad al was het minder ver weg.......Terschelling.......Duinen i.p.v bergen en vulkanen.
